BoKEA combines the convenience of Ikea cabinets with high-end materials and unique design doors. The result? Practical, customized, and easy-to-install kitchen cabinets, all at an affordable price.

The business model of this Quebec startup is already well established in Europe but was unknown in Canada and North America until recently. The BoKEA team saw this model as a new offering to meet the needs of Canadian consumers.

An innovative concept

BoKEA is a pioneering company in the world of digital cabinetry. The concept is simple: consumers buy IKEA cabinet bases and then work with BoKEA for custom doors.

The startup offers two approaches: a product catalog or the "Step-by-Step" experience, which allows the user to follow a predefined process until their project is completed. It stands out by capitalizing on IKEA's weakness: uniqueness.

But to introduce its concept to the Canadian public, BoKEA needed a team to assist in the creation of its website and the implementation of various marketing strategies and tactics. That's where Webit comes into play.

The mission

Webit's mandate went beyond creating a website and an e-commerce platform. Everything had to align with the client's primary objective: introducing the concept to Canada and educating future buyers on its relevance and benefits.

It was also essential that the web experience be optimized to engage target audiences and convince them to make a purchase.

In the B2C sector, several markets were targeted: Quebec, the rest of Canada, and even the American market. With its decoration service, BoKEA also targeted the business market in B2B.

Our approach

To reach the different target audiences and educate them about this new concept, which is still relatively unknown in Canada, Webit chose Craft Commerce technology for the creation of the website and online store. An English version of the site was also designed for the English-speaking Canadian provinces and the United States.

Additionally, our digital marketing and strategy teams collaborated to assist BoKEA in implementing various marketing strategies and tactics aimed at increasing brand awareness in Quebec and beyond.
