Synchronex is a Quebec association of 59 College Centres for the Transfer of Technologies (CCTT) across Quebec. As for the CCTTs, they serve Quebec SMEs and organizations. 2019 was a transitional year for the association, which adopted a new name (it was formerly known as the Trans-tech Network) and brand image and launched a new website. Webit was mandated to design a new showcase website as well as a secure member-dedicated site.
Synchronex’s project presented a major content management challenge. The team found rethinking the information architecture a stimulating mandate. Many target audiences needed to be served: CCTT members and their employees, company managers, public institutions and organizations as well as donors. Modernization upgrades were also significant. All this was done is a rebranding context.
We made every effort to ensure the organization’s internal and external audiences could access the information they wanted quickly and intuitively to increase Synchronex’s reputation as a key player among companies and maintain the association links with its members. We chose an approach that humanized the organization’s offering, which was very well received.
